Our ChargePoint-powered stations are located in the main parking lot — so you can charge your car while you play your round. Simply download the ChargePoint app, create a free account, and you’re ready to go.
Charge While You Play
Our ChargePoint charging stations are conveniently located in the main parking lot at Penderbrook Golf Club. With multiple Level 2 charging ports available, you can plug in when you arrive and return to a fully charged vehicle after your round.
The stations are accessible to all golfers and visitors — no membership required. Charging is available during all club operating hours.
Getting Started is Easy
Create Your Account
Download the free ChargePoint app or sign up at chargepoint.com. Add your payment info — credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or PayPal.
Plug In & Start Charging
Pull into any designated EV space in the main lot. Use the ChargePoint app to locate the station and start your session.
Play Your Round
Head to the course and enjoy your game. You’ll receive notifications when your charge is complete.
Payment & Fees
Charging sessions are billed through your ChargePoint account. We accept all major credit and debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. You can also use RFID cards through roaming agreements with other networks.
IDLE FEE POLICY
$2.00 per hour for vehicles remaining in charging spots after the car has fully charged. A 20-minute grace period applies. This fee is applied to all users.

EV Charging FAQs
Do I need to create an account to use the chargers? +
Yes — a free ChargePoint account is required. You can sign up via the ChargePoint app (available on iOS and Android) or at chargepoint.com. Setup takes only a few minutes and you’ll need to add payment info before your first session.
How much does it cost to charge? +
Charging rates are set by ChargePoint and may vary. Your ChargePoint account will show the current rate for the Penderbrook stations before you begin a session. The ChargePoint app and account signup are always free.
What is the idle fee? +
A $2.00 per hour idle fee applies to vehicles that remain in a charging space after their battery has fully charged. There is a 20-minute grace period to move your vehicle. This fee applies to all users — residents and non-residents alike.
How many charging spaces are available? +
Penderbrook has multiple dedicated Level 2 EV charging spaces in the main parking lot. Spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis during all club operating hours.
What if I have trouble starting a charge? +
Make sure your ChargePoint app and device operating system are fully up to date. If you continue to experience issues, ChargePoint offers 24/7 customer support directly through the app. You can also call the club at (703) 385-3700 during operating hours.
Can I use other charging network apps or cards? +
Yes — ChargePoint supports roaming agreements with other charging network apps and RFID cards, so you may be able to access the stations through a compatible network if you already have an account.
